A flaw in the E-Verify system allowing illegal immigrants to trick the system by using false identification, often belonging to someone else, will be fixed according to Jock Scharfen, Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
He was speaking to reporters who came to tour the Nebraska Service Center. He said the system will soon be able to notify employers when fake identification is used and that the Bush administration was working with ICE on how to handle enforcement on cases brought to their attention by the system.
