It’s HOT !!!

Prosper is about 40 miles north of Dallas.
I promise you, this is what it feels and looks like in TX right now !!
This screenshot from this evening’s 5PM news weather forecast tells the story. We accidentally left a bottle of water in the car. When we retrieved it, it was so hot, it could scald your skin.
Too bad tickets to one of my favorite cities in the world are through the roof. Look at the weather forecast there – we are talking 73-78F – 30 degrees lower !!

I like the aesthetics and lay out of the Dallas city. The temperatures are usually higher than california but i think the beauty of the city is enough to compensate for it.
Looks like the field is on fire! Talk about extremes in weather. Few places in Kenya ever get that hot. Maybe parts of North Eastern and Turkana. Maybe Chalbi Desert as well.
You know what. You could not have been closer to the truth. If you have been next to a bonfire – a big bonfire – and you are standing right next to it; that is the feeling you get with this heat. The only difference is you can move away from a bonfire, for us, the only escape is to be in the house.
Oi, and you just had to remind me, didn’t you. I’ve been lying low inside the house and hoping that when I open my eyes, it will be November. And me without even a pool to dunk in. Love Texas.
