Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s ODM party won 3 seats in yesterday’s by-elections while President Mwai Kibaki’s PNU won 2 seats. The ODM party now has 103 seats total while PNU has 104 seats.
Security was tight at the polling stations and the elections were largely peaceful with few minor incidents of skirmishes reported. Thank God for that !

I think the peaceful elections held in Kenya yesterday shows improved democracy. People seem To have realised that justice is not brought about by war.
