Barack Obama has just accepted to be the democratic nominee for president of the United States. He is still on stage giving his speech in St. Paul Minnesota at this hour. A Kenyan in Lake Stevens WA has predicted that if Barack Obama is confirmed as the democratic nominee for president tonight, beer sales in Kenya will shoot up in celebration of this historic event.

The speech is over. A quick scan of the pundits’ initial reaction – they all like it. Some are even now saying that he might be a better speaker than Bill Clinton. That is a lofty claim, but not far-fetched.
“He was gracious, he was patriotic, he was smart,” another pundit said on MSNBC.
