What the hell are these people talking about? So because this looks like it’s not a slam dunk for Hillary Clinton, suddenly it’s hanky panky – with no evidence? Very interesting.
This unfortunate comment just came out of the CNN panel of talking heads a few minutes ago as everyone was waiting for the delayed vote count from Lake county where Gary, Indiana is located. This is nothing new. I have seen vote counts going well into the night and early morning.
The mayor came on and repeated several times that they had a huge early voter turnout, the largest in fact in that county’s history but the pundits would not let it go and one of them suddenly blurted out that there must be some “hanky panky” going on in Lake county.
John King went as far as pulling data for Marion county (on his fancy wall map computer thingy) which is supposedly a much bigger county and pressed on by asking the mayor of Gary again how that county could turn in it’s numbers early while little Lake county was not able to.
I could have answered that question for him – experience of the election officials. I’ve been an election official in a small town and I am almost certain that was the problem.
