A crook in North Texas was arrested today after he tried to cash a USD$360 billion check to open a music recording business. He said his girlfriend’s mother gave him the money. He was reported to be smelling of marijuana when he was arrested.

The name of the Kenyan who took his own life last on April 22nd, 2008, is George Waiyaki. He was found hanging by his roommates in the apartment they shared.

According to the Telegraph newspaper, the global sovereign wealth funds have managed a 24 percent growth over the last 3 years and are set to eclipse the entire output of the United States within 7 years. Nigeria is cited as having one of the fastest growing pools in the fund.

A new US Citizenship and Immigration Services building will officially open today in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. This will cut the long drive to Charlotte in the south to process immigration paperwork.

A Kenyan living in Dallas, Texas has committed suicide. Preliminary, unconfirmed information reaching Breaking News Kenya indicates that he had just received a deportation order and was distressed about the situation. This, however, is subject to clarification and confirmation.
