According to reports from local news networks, Ms Kasera called 911 from a payphone in LaGrange, GA to report that her 11 year old daughter was in the back seat of her car and was not breathing.

LaGrange is about 70 miles south-west of Atlanta, GA and about 180 miles west of the North Carolina border.

Her husband, Dominic Kipkoskei, died last year in July while jogging.

UPDATE:Comments from Nancy’s sister in Nairobi
Received March 13, 2008 11:44 AM CST

Greetings:

Nancy Kasera is my sister, and I am deeply disturbed and saddened by what has happened to our little niece.

I am numb with pain and my heart is bleeding as we are trying to come to terms with what has happened.

The pain is too much to bear, as the death of a child regardless of the circumstances is a very traumatizing and agonizing experience that no parent ever wishes to experience in their lifetime( let alone being the cause of it).

We pray for the soul of our little niece to Rest In Eternal Peace. She was an Angel, a very cheerful and shy child, who readily mixed with other children. She left an impression on everyone who met her.

“Rest In Peace Little Angel, you are with your maker and no harm can come to you now”.

As for Nancy, I beg everyone not to rush and judge her as we don’t really know what happened. The truth will finally reveal itself and if she was responsible she will pay for her sins.

  3. to all of you out there,
I am deeply saddened by this news. Nancy is my friend.

We ‘ve been friends for many years. Both her children were flower girls in my wedding. I just don’t understand how this horrible situation could happen. I loved Nikki just like my own. She was such a beautiful girl with brown silky skin, bright smile and a full life ahead of her. I saw Nancy and both her children at most of my family gatherings and other girl friends get together.

Nancy is just like a sister to me. My entire family is in sorrow because we lost not only Nikki but also Nancy. So please don’t be harsh on Nancy and don’t be so quick to judge her. We all don’t know what she was going through emotionally or psychologically. We do not have the right to judge but God. All we want to from all of you is to support her family and the poor child left behind “Natalie” and find what we can do to support her and let her know that she is not alone. I am here for her as well as my family. We just want to know where Nikki’s body will be sent so we can all gather and share our sorrows.

I have tons of pictures(my wedding pictures)as well as videos with Nikki and Natalie. would you like to see some of them?
You have to be a family member or best friend to Nancy and her children and I mean it…

DO NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONs ON HER MENTAL STATUS YOU ARE NOT DOCTORS OR PSYCHIATRISTS. PRAY AND PRAY AND PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY
