We’ve just been under torrential rain here in DFW for the last hour and a half. We’ve also been under a tornado watch, but the eye of the tornado (which also contains golf-ball sized hailstones), has moved to East TX.

Nope. That is not Moses Wetangula (current Kenyan foreign affairs minister) but the then Minister of foreign affairs, James Osogo issuing a statement regarding Kenya’s decision to pull out of the 21st Olympic games in Montreal, Canada hours before the games opened in the summer of 1976.

The results of the 2008 Diversity Visa Lottery are out and 4,547 Kenyans are on the list of 96,000 winners. They now have to apply for their immigrant visa and go through a rigorous vetting process before traveling to the United States.
Good luck to all the winners of this year’s DV lottery.

Last night FOX NEWS did not even mention a single thing about Barack Obama’s passport breach. This was big breaking news across all the major networks yesterday. Even some local channels broke programming to mention it. So what was FOX broadcasting? Barack’s pastor !! I guess this is what they mean with their moniker “Fair and Balanced”.
